My Magical Garden

Hi everyone,
I grow vegetables in my little garden.
But this garden is sprinkled with a bit of magic.
Every year, something starts growing, even though I never planted it.
Sure, I use compost, so it makes sense... to a degree.
Pumpkins, avocados, and tomatoes often pop up on their own.
In the past, I’ve also had surprise broccoli and sunflowers.
Maybe the birds are blessing my garden.
And this year
something new appeared.
I’d never seen it before, so I took a picture and searched for it.
It’s called "Purple Amaranth".

I learned that its leaves are edible and rich in vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
The seeds can be eaten like quinoa or ground into flour.
There’s so much I don’t know
and nature keeps teaching me.
Have you discovered something new lately?
Love and Peace
Keiko
