Transformation: The Message Hidden in a Butterfly

Every weekend, I pick a Fairy Oracle card and share a message on YouTube Shorts for the week ahead.

This week, I picked the Transformation card.

A butterfly is a symbol of transformation, so I usually let my thoughts flow naturally and write a few sentences that come to mind as I look at the card.

After I posted this week's YouTube Short, I found myself thinking about butterflies. Then I remembered something. The other day, I had seen three butterflies!

They were Painted Lady butterflies. When they spread their wings, you can see their beautiful orange and brown colours. But when they close their wings, they look just like leaves. What a perfect camouflage!

When I saw those three butterflies, I didn't think much about it. But after I posted the Transformation message, I began to see the connection.

I believe transformation doesn't happen all at once in a single day. It happens gradually, often so slowly that we don't even notice the changes taking place in our everyday lives.

Change isn't always easy, especially as we get older. Staying where we are can feel safer and more comfortable than stepping into the unknown. Sometimes, we would rather hold on to what we know than face the uncertainty of what comes next.

But the energy of our planet is changing, too, and we cannot always predict what lies ahead.

Perhaps the message of transformation is not asking us to force change, but to stay open to it.

We don't have to know exactly where we are going or what will happen next. All we can do is keep an open mind, listen to our intuition, and try not to resist the changes unfolding in our lives.

Just like the butterfly, we may be transforming in ways we cannot yet see.

And sometimes, all it takes is a little reminder from the universe to help us notice.
