Why Our Animals Choose the Bodies They Do

Hi everyone
I’ve been lucky enough to share my life with two soulmates in the past, they just happened to have fur.
They played a big part in helping me become the animal communicator I am today.
I love all cats, no matter their shape or color, but for some reason, I have a soft spot for long-haired kitties.
Just petting them brings me such comfort.
Of course, having long hair looks beautiful, but for them, it can be a bit of a challenge.
Can you imagine how hot it must get for them in the summertime?
Not to mention, using the litter box must be tricky, and they probably deal with hairballs more often than short-haired cats.
I currently live with three cats, and only one of them has long hair.
This is Pixie, he’s the youngest of the bunch.

When he first came to our home, he was a wild kitty, not used to people at all.
I’m so glad I wore gloves when I first tried to pet him. Just as I suspected, he bit me, but I was ready.
Pixie had a hard time adjusting to us, but my oldest kitty, Cocoa, helped him.
Cocoa showed him around, how to use the kitty door and how things work in our home.
Now, Pixie is the biggest of them all, but my husband still calls him "Chibi", which means “tiny” in Japanese.
Even though he’s a big boy now, he’s still scared of noises outside.
When we’re in the backyard and he hears something, he runs straight back to the door.
He doesn’t like it when the door is closed, I think he wants to make sure he always has a way back home.
So, I put up a screen door with a magnetic closure. It opens and closes easily, so he can come and go while we’re outside.
Pixie turned out to be such an affectionate kitty.
Every time I see his gorgeous fur, I feel so much gratitude for him.
Because even though having long fur can be tough, I believe he chose that body just for me, knowing how much I love it.
Did you know that animals choose their "clothes" for you, whether they come as a dog, cat, horse, rabbit, etc.?
They choose the perfect form to help you learn the lessons of this lifetime in the best way.
What kind of animal do you live with?
Love and peace,
Keiko
